NEW- Know your assignment: You should receive written notice of your school, grade level, and/or subject assignment at least 10 days before the last day of school (used to be 5 days).
If your assignment changes late: You may transfer to an open position you’re qualified for, with approval from the receiving principal.
NEW- $300 Building Transfer Payment: If you transfer to another building, voluntarily or involuntarily, you will receive a one-time $300 payment to cover job-related transfer expenses.
NEW- Applying for an internal position? If you meet the minimum qualifications, you are guaranteed an interview and must be notified of the outcome.
Involuntary transfer? You may request a meeting to discuss the reason.
Changes after August 1: You may resign without penalty with two weeks’ written notice.
